Why ours?Â
We use real Birch plywood on all our cabinets, not MDF or melamine. This means they are strong! We use only premium components; it doesn’t do anyone any good to have a nice machine with cheap parts. We want our machines to feel real, so were using Industrious Lorenzo and Suzo-Happ joysticks and buttons along with premium trackballs, spinners and light guns. We even have our own custom controller encoders manufactured for us, this gives us total control over buttons, and boot order for peripherals. We have software engineering degrees over here, so we take the time to make sure the software is working. Getting a single machine to emulate almost everything is no easy task. Yes, there are good front-end systems, but they take time and knowledge to dial in. We spend the time to do this, and it is a work in progress, for this reason we provide updates on config files as we continually update them.
We have been in business a long time, so have no fear, we are here for you. We put 5 years on all our parts and will offer support when you need it.

Warranty Details
We build these machines so that should there be a problem we can ship out replacements parts and they can be installed by the user with minimal effort. Instructional videos will be available to walk the consumer though the process. Our joysticks and buttons are industrial quality and rated for millions of actions.
Screen Details
We use premium HD computer monitors, we don’t use cheap televisions. Computer monitors were intended to view at close range, so they have better clarity and a much better viewing angle. Don’t send a bunch of money on an arcade that has a crappy screen.
Upgrades
We manufacture our cabinets to be upgradeable. They come standard with premium components, you can add spinners, guns, wheels, etc at anytime. You can also upgrade the CPU unit in the coming years as technology continues to improve.Â
Light Guns
We have dialed in our system to use the Sinden Light Guns. These are the latest in gun technology and far more accurate than any other on the market. Using a camera instead of a light laser there is no need for an extra bar on your machine, Play games like Virtua Cop, House of The Dead, Time Crisis and Duck Hunt. Our system has 294 configured light gun games.
Joysticks
Competition quality, not cheap imports.
 
This is easily the best gift I could have gotten the family. It has over 10,000 games on it. It’s like living our collective childhood all over again. 100% worth the money and the customer service was excellent, Ryan got back to me literally within an hour on a friday night when we first booted it up to help with some setup questions. It does take them a while to make these things and there was a delay around christmas time but in the end, it was so worth it! Most gaming cabinets go for over $1500 online and only play a handful of games. I searched for a while trying to find one that had multiple games that my dad had played back when he was in college. Then I found American Gear Company and their custom cabinet. This blew my mind when it came in. This thing is worth more than a hundred standard gaming cabinets for only an extra grand. You can even set highscores and compete against your family and friends, guaranteeing that the system will be constantly occupied whenever people come over. Some games on newer systems do require you to plug your own controllers in like call of duty black ops etc., so if you want to play those you’ll need an adapter or something, but there are just so many games you probably won’t even care. Best Xmas gift ever!!
Overall the unit is great, but we have some issues with quality of unit, customer service, & shipping.
I received my order a few weeks late, and it was missing the guns. The game unit was loose on the pallet. I removed from pallet and the unit did not power on. I opened the back and noticed the SSD was not fixed to the front of the unit. It got knocked around and looks to have hit a few wires. It pulled a few of the power wires out.
I communicated my problems to Ryan/Reagan through phone and email 20+ days ago. Both very courteous and nice on the phone, but I’m still waiting on my order from 11/4/24 to be completed. Can someone at this company please just complete my order.
Honestly, if my order was complete or had been completed in a timely manner I would give this review 5 stars.

Yes, we did ship later than we would have liked and later than you expected. There is no excuse for this, and we are working to scale and put processes in place that are more efficient so that we can better hit timing targets. I appreciate the feedback about shipping and a loose wire, this is not acceptable, and I will ensure that we take extra QC precautions going forward. The guns you are waiting on shipped this past week so you should be receiving them any day, we apologize for the delay on that. Hopefully when you get them it will just increase the excitement to further enjoy your arcade. I’m sad that we couldn’t earn your 5 stars on this review, hopefully however we can make you a fan for life in the months and years to come as we will be here to support you.

Extremely happy with the purchase. They were such a pleasure to do business with. Excellent customer service, I felt like they really wanted me to have the best experience possible. Be patient when your machine arrives, if everything isn’t perfect. They definitely strive to make it so in a very easy way. They called me on the phone and walked me step-by-step through a troubleshooting issue. That was completely not their fault. We absolutely loved the machine, it has already been worth the investment. 10/10 would recommend this company anytime any day. Very good customer Service from literally everyone I was in contact with.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier. This arcade cabinet is going to be the center of our game room we are building. The ordering process was relatively seamless and Ryan was always quick to reply to emails and questions.
Shipping wasn’t too bad, and they delivered it straight to our front door. Only thing wrong was one of the light guns was damaged in shipping but Ryan and his team were quick to act and are sending us a new one.
It’s already been a hit with us and our friends and I will definitely recommend AGC to anyone who is looking for a pre-made cabinet.
Everything that AGC could control, they nailed and things that they couldn’t, their support documentation as well as patient staff made it easy to get things fully operational from day one. This is a beast of a machine and is going to be a part of our family for a very long time.
Overall pleased. There were cosmetic concerns including coverings/plugs for pre-set holes on the control board. Would look a lot cleaner if those holes weren’t there. Also, molding was missing in some areas, maybe because they’re tight areas, but raw and exposed wood not necessarily a good look. I’m willing to put in some work on this, but this is truly a piece of furniture. It would be nice if it looked like it 100%.
The unit comes set-up for immediate play, which was very nice. Most games you can think of are here. However, you have to rely on the downloaaded copy that’s available. The usb ports are for controllers (it appears)- they don’t allow you to plug in mame games you may have from other sources.
The gamelist is pretty complete, including hard to find titles. There are a lot of games. However, all games may not play. To be fair, there are a lot of ‘copies’ to account for, but to take time to set up your favorites only to find the copy doesn’t work is a letdown.
There is going to be troubleshooting required- it’s nice there are some videos for common issues, but you have to actively call the team for questions, especially if you don’t have working knowledge of how cabinets work/are set up. An instruction manual would be really nice for the unit you have, as some videos appear outdated.
Last things- the team seems interested in getting it right, even if there was no wrong on their part. I didn’t like the color I originally chose for buttons- replacements were sent with no questions asked via priority mail. There are things that could be improved as noted above, but overall, this is a good product.
Thank you for your feedback! In regard to titles that don’t work, simply scan the qr code on the machine and fill out the form that pops up. This logs them in a database so we can fix them for updates that everyone has access to. Keep a lookout for updated videos as we are making them based on our most recent build. Again, much appreciated feedback, we strive to be the best and need to know where we fall short.
We just love the new arcade and we appreciate the job y’all have done. It’s a big hit around the house without a doubt. Only issue is that we didn’t receive the two light guns and they were ordered with the machine. Thank y’all again so much!!!! We love it!!

My new arcade is a functional work of art, and now I can share some of my 80s memories with my family. Thank you AGC.
The quality on these is amazing. I looked around at about 10 different options across the country for months ahead of Christmas for a 4-player arcade unit, and finally went with these units from American Gear after talking with Ryan in email. They definitely had the best options and cost for how high quality it is, plus customer service and customization.
I was able to fully customize the art from some of their existing assets and additional ideal, and the final result and quality still exceeded my expectations.
When you receive it, you can do so much with it, and they push updates all the time. You can tell they really care.
After receiving it I mixed up the sound mapping and they very quickly responded to an email to help me get it fixed. Other companies probably would have ignored a random email about that since the sale was done. Amazing customer service.
I am beyond happy that I went with American gear.
